Keen golfers are catered for with a number of courses at Strabane, City of Derry, Foyle, North-West, Ballyliffin, Greencastle, Newtownstewart and Ballybofey.

Fishermen have an abundance of local rivers - the Dennett and Ballymagorry (both within 10 minutes walk). Within a short driving distance is the Finn, the Mourne and many lakes such as Moorlough and Lough Ash. Licences can be obtained locally.

The house itself is situated within walking distance (1000 meters) of the confluence of the rivers, Denett, Ballymagorry, Foyle and the Old Strabane Canal.
